I see a lot of professional athletes, and they're all obviously very accomplished at what they do. The question is how they became a professional. Yes, they are all naturally talented to some extent, but the actual answer is practice. They worked on every aspect of their game from the start. They began working on and correcting things that didn't operate well when they were just youngsters playing. They considered it and had coaches who assisted them in honing their craft. They worked on it until it became second nature…

People are frequently perplexed by how I manage the majority of people's care. I've been advised that a patient does not wish to take any medical medications during their treatment. This is frequently functional, and we can make it work; nonetheless, I would caution against taking an all-in or all-out stance on any therapeutic approach. I would suggest that taking as many medications as possible will not make you healthy. However, I would argue against the notion that a person should never use drugs as part of their health care…

When we look at American health issues and then at how we live, it's easy to see the relationship. We are stressed out about a wide range of difficulties, some of which are real and others of which are not. We don't always have or prepare the best cuisine. Not everyone has the time to exercise or sleep. We are constantly bombarded with substances that have a negative impact on our bodies. Nonetheless, we continue to question why we feel the way we do, particularly emotionally. One thing to keep…

Someone came in a couple of days ago, and they were fatigued, irritable, a little snappy, and felt lousy. They couldn't figure it out and thought they were sick or coming down with something. They didn't perform poorly when tested. We discussed this for a while after testing because their results didn't show anything that would have explained how they felt. I asked about what they were consuming, which was a really excellent macro set and food selection for the individual. We ultimately figured out the problem when we started…

Most men do not consider prostate health until they learn that someone they know has prostate cancer, but they should. There is an old adage that if a guy lives long enough, he will develop prostate cancer. However, there are many things we can do to prevent prostate problems in the long run. One of these is to test DHT levels. DHT, or dihydrotestosterone, is the hormone that causes male pattern baldness and is a major contributor to prostate issues and cancer. The majority of DHT is produced by testosterone…

When it comes to testosterone replacement, one of the most crucial things to keep an eye on is your DHT, or dihydrotestosterone levels. DHT causes hair loss in both men and women, and it is also extremely damaging to the prostate in men only. I haven't noticed many other places discussing or even testing for DHT, presumably since it's expensive and time-consuming. However, it is critical to general wellness. Typically, I will screen them for DHT once a year, or more frequently if there is a problem. Normally, you don't…

This year's flu has been particularly severe and annoying. Normally, the flu treatment kills out the illness in a few of days 2-3, but this bug is proving to be a bit more difficult. What we're seeing is that it starts with indigestion, loose stools, nausea, vomiting, and severe congestion, and can linger for 7-10 days. The best treatment we've discovered for this problem is to alternate renal castor packs and coffee enemas while taking higher doses of L-lysine, Vitamin C, D3, and quinine, which appears to assist but doesn't…

So, if you follow me or certain other individuals on social media, you will see this, so I'll discuss it before you do. To provide some context, I lost a family member to an opiate overdose a few years ago. I've seen firsthand what it can do to a family. Years later, I witnessed the mother of this person start crying for no apparent reason. Since then, I've done a lot of research on opioids, how they work, why we use them, and what alternatives there are. I consider this…

People appeared to enjoy my essay on Myo-inositol and PCOS, so I wrote on another lesser-known vitamin for wellness. If any of you have herpes, which affects approximately 80% of the population. Cold sores or fever blisters are included since they are the most prevalent form. Taking L-Lysine orally is one of the quickest ways I've seen to get rid of them. For most people, starting Lysine as soon as you notice a fever blister beginning can often prevent it from fully growing. If you wake up with a fever…
