Is Keto a fad? Is it as unhealthy as they say it is? Well, Dr. Chalmers takes a look

I keep hearing that eating Keto is a fad, unhealthy, and unsustainable. If this is somehow keeping you from going Keto, if your somatotype needs it, do not listen to these people. It is super easy and tasty, and you can do it for a long time. Last week, I had ravioli, lasagna, ice cream with peanut butter, pizza, eggs benedict, brownies, and cake.

This is on top of the steak, cheese, sausage, and whatnot that everyone always thinks of for Keto.

The options in the diet are wildly plentiful. The only thing I can think of that you can’t have been French fries. Regarding health, I also do not see the issue with a diet based on healthy fats for a body that runs on fats. So, what are the real downsides?

You have to learn to make new things in the kitchen.  If you can’t cook, you’re going to have to learn. You’ll have to learn to cook differently if you can cook.

For instance, the lasagna I had was made with Egg life tortillas that we repurposed for this. The cake and brownies are gluten-free and sugar-free, with lots of good choices for sugar substitutes, but you’ll have to test them to figure out which one you want.

Eating at restaurants can be tricky; it’s more than just the food you order. It’s the sauce they put on it. So, there is a learning curve. However, I will tell you if your body wants to eat fat, IE, you’re an endomorph, the health benefits grossly outweigh the time it will take to learn.
