This year, we are seeing a very strong and irritating version of the flu. Typically, the flu protocol knocks out the flu in a couple of days, 2-3 usually. However, this bug is proving to be a bit more of a challenge.
We see that it starts with indigestion, loose stools, or nausea, including vomiting and significant congestion, and can last for 7-10 days. The best path we have found for this particular issue is to alternate kidney castor packs and coffee enemas while taking larger amounts of L-Lysine, Vitamin C, and D3. The quinine seems to help; however, it isn’t as big of a punch as I would expect. In this instance, the Lysine is the big player.
Remember, this goal is to give the body the chemicals it needs to fight. Lysine is an amino acid that helps the body fight off viruses of all kinds. D3 is a hormone that aids the body in absorbing vital ions to help make everything in your body, including white blood cells for the immune system. Vitamin C is important for converting cholesterol into bile salts, helping B vitamins like folic acid become more functional, and helping them increase the production of serotonin.
So, in a nutshell: digestion, brain function, energy, and liver function are why we take higher levels of C. While quinine has been shown to be very antiviral and help with blood vessel tone, it doesn’t have the impact it does on other “issues” I would still take it, but if you’re looking for a way to lower the cost, I will drop the quinine. A big part of this is to clear the detox organs, so if you can do the kidney castor packs and the enemas, that will help a lot.
You can also put the Lysine in the enema, which seems to help as it will go right to the liver. Lastly, remember to stay hydrated and drink lots of water. Try to get to 100% of your body weight in ounces.
